Hello Matt,

I were the person on Easterhegg 2014 who were questioning some things
about your products.

I have a inconsitency problem with your declaration of conformity / EN
301 893 and the information the gui and ssh of Nanostation LOCO M5
gives. If I select as location "Germany", the default value for the tx
power is 23 dBm. Via gui and ssh you can see that the kernel says the
interface realy has 23 dBm, see the attached images.

Your declaration of conformity:
http://dl.ubnt.com/compliance/nanoM5_CE_DoC.pdf

EN 301893:
http://www.etsi.org/deliver/etsi_en/301800_301899/301893/01.07.00_40/en_301893v010700o.pdf

In your declaration of conformity you say you comply to EN 301893, which
allows for 5185 to 5685 Mhz only 30 dBm (see point 4.4.2.1). This don't
match if you summarize the values from kernel (23 dBm) and the antenna
gain(13 dBm) together (23 dBm + 13 dBm = 36 dBm).

Is it right that I have to add this both values to get the EIRP relevant
for 4.4.2.1 of EN 301893?

Do you met 4.4.2.1 in EN 301893, don't you?

Regards,
Markus Schräder
